Dr Lee has requested that calcium scores be charged if requested along with a coronary angiograms.
Commencing Mon 19/9, any coronary angiograms that have a calcium score requested will need to be charged the $95 fee for the calcium score.
The exception currently is Dr Thakkar and Dr Cranswick. If they request a calcium score as well as a coronary angiogram then we won’t charge the calcium score.
When entering the patient visit, the coronary angiogram and calcium score will require separate visits as the coronary angiogram will be bulk billed and the calcium score will need to be privately billed. Thus two visits are required.
If the patient doesn’t have Medicare, then both the coronary and calcium score will need to be charged.
