CT Bilateral Body Regions

Please be aware that bilateral CT scans cannot be separated – i.e. booked on two different days.

Both sides, just like when we perform ultrasounds, have to be performed on the same day. For example CT scan bilateral wrists – must be performed on the same day.  Do not book on two separate days.  

In addition, if a request is received and has a combination of wording such as “CT Spect”  - this may indicate that a Nuclear Medicine bone scan is required rather than a CT scan (as Nuclear Medicine scans can have CT components).  This must be checked prior to booking.
