Referrals

Spinal Injections

Please request all spinal injection referrals to be sent to us  -  please check if the injection is worded as a denervation or alcohol injection.  If a denervation is required then it needs to be booked as the last spot of the day in a 30min spot. 

If an appointment is booked prior to receiving the referral then when the referral arrives it must be checked against the booking to ensure that it has been booked correctly.

Coronary Angiogram

Please request that all coronary angiogram referrals are sent to us prior to appointment being arranged so that we can ensure that we book the correct study, and confirm that falls within Medicare guidelines.

If an appointment is booked prior to receiving the referral then when the referral arrives it must be checked against the booking to ensure that it has been booked correctly.

Notes must be put in the patient record regarding instructions given.
