Clarification on when to inform Michelle that a patient has been merged:
This only needs to be done when the patient has had actual visits under the UR number that has been merged. If a new record was created for a patient when an appointment was made, and you have merged this with their actual UR, you do not need to inform Michelle as no visits were added to that UR.
Also could you please inform Michelle via slack or email only - no post it notes!
If merging patient records in Comrad please make sure that you let Michelle know as the images will also need to be merged on Pacs. Once the record has been merged in Comrad – either send a message through to Michelle on Slack or email with the patient’s name, date of birth and both UR numbers that are being merged.
