Masks

Health orders still stipulate that masks are to be worn in health facilities, therefore we will continue to wear masks and request patients to wear masks when they attend any of our sites. Patients can either choose to bring their own, or pay $2 for one to be supplied.

COVID POSITIVE

Prior to arranging an appt - check if the patient has tested positive for COVID in the 5 days prior to the appointment date  -  If they have, then as per the health orders, it is requested that they refrain from entering high risk areas such as healthcare and aged facilities. The appointment will need to be arranged preferably 7 days from testing positive (same applies if a patient is bringing a carer/companion - this person cannot have tested positive for COVID in the 5 days prior).

If staff test positive for COVID, the health orders direct that healthcare workers still need to isolate for 5 days.
