This week we are going to learn what "peripheral" means in a medical diagnostic context.
If a request mentions "peripheral" it simply means of the arms or legs. If a request says peripheral veins left leg, it is the veins of the left leg. If a request says peripheral arteries right leg, it means the arteries of the right leg. Peripheral itself does not refer to the veins or arteries.
