Western Imaging Group (and especially Matthew) prefers the term DXA. You may see DEXA used elsewhere, but in all descriptions on Comrad, we are to use DXA.
DXA = Dual-energy X-ray Absorptiometry. The "E" in energy is hyphenated, hence it is not used in the acronym of DXA. The "R" in x-ray is also not included as it is a hyphenated word.
Remember ... we use DXA!
