Original Referrals

A reminder that whilst a photograph of a referral may be acceptable when making an appointment, all efforts must be made to ensure the original copy of the referral is scanned in at the time of the appointment. Please remind any patient that submits a photograph that they must bring the original with them. A referral must be able to be read clearly and 95% of the time a photo of a referral is unable to be read by the radiologists. When registering a patient, please check any scanned referrals and rescan the original if a photo was initially scanned.
