Mobile Phones

Mobile phones are not to be on your person during work hours.

You may check your phone during lunch or tea breaks, otherwise they are to be kept in your locker.

Smart watches may be worn but during work hours they are to be considered simply a watch. You may not use the watch to communicate or check notifications.

Formal warnings will be issued to any staff member who fails to follow this staff policy.

There are certain senior staff members who have a dispensation and they know who they are. These staff members need to be contacted by our radiologists and vendors and therefore require their phone for work purposes. Unless you have explicit permission from Dr Lee, you are never to use your phone during work hours.

WE REALLY SHOULD NOT HAVE TO KEEP REPEATING THIS.
