A reminder once again, that if sick leave is taken then a medical certificate is required to be sent to Rita and Evelyn on the day of return back to work. No-one is going to chase you down and ask if you have a certificate. It is your responsibility to provide the documentation required to get paid appropriately. If you DO NOT provide a certificate or indicate to Rita/Evelyn the form of leave to be taken, then the time taken won’t be paid and will be put against your record as unauthorised. Unauthorised leave forms part of performance and could lead to disciplinary action if this becomes a repeated issue.
