MSK Injections and Consultations

We have had some referrals come through requesting consultation to be performed as well as MSK injection.

For those patients, please add item 104 for initial consult or 105 for follow-up in addition to the MSK INj item number (55848). If a diagnostic +/- injection is requested as well as a consultation then the code will be 55850 + 104.

The addition of the consult number is only to be used if the referring Dr has requested this on the patient’s referral.
