OPV

Please make sure that you OPV every patient - even if they've been here before.  This will ensure that all bulk bill claims get paid and don't get rejected due to expired card numbers.

Almost 30% of patients aren't being OPV'd if they've been here before and it's delaying billing as we're having to OPV before we invoice so that we don't delay payments from Medicare otherwise we risk the claims being rejected.

Please make sure all  staff  in each of your area are aware that this is to be done each time a patient comes for a test.
