SI Joint Injection Fees

Effective immediately, as per Dr Lee, we are to commence charging CT SI joint injections a private upfront fee.  The fees below will be charged for Medicare card holders with current cards.

The exceptions will be:

• If patient is over 75 yrs. 
• Long term SI joint patients that have been here before – if unsure check with Dr Lee.

If people ask about payment, you can let them know that Dr Lee is one of the preferred providers of back injections by spinal surgeons both in NSW and interstate and that they will get an expert providing the service who has performed thousands of prior injections.

If the patient needs to return for a 2^nd SI injection within a month, there will be no out of pocket fees – Medicare will be accepted.

The fee structure will be as follows:

• Item 57341 = $500
• Item 104 = $150
• Total Fee = $650

Out of pocket with Medicare will be approximately $150.
