Comparison or Follow up Scans

If any referral states for follow up, or for comparison, then prior report/images need to be available to do this.

This should be asked when making an appointment i.e. "are there any relevant reports or scans performed of the region being scanned?" and "prior results must be brought to the current appointment". 

We require prior reports/scans (especially those performed at other imaging providers) to enable comparison or follow up reporting. When a patient arrives for their appointment, the request form must be checked and if comparison or follow-up is required, ask the patient if prior imaging/reports have been brought in, otherwise we will need to chase these up as they will be needed for scanning and reporting purposes.
