Uniform Protocol

We pride ourselves on our professional and caring service, and part of this is how we present ourselves to our patients, visitors, referrers and community.   

A uniform policy is in place to reflect this professionalism.  To be clear – joggers, sports shoes, tights, jeans, jeggings or anything similar are NOT part of the uniform. If you are unsure what to wear or what is appropriate, refer to the protocol below. If you still don’t understand or are unsure please see Rita.   

WESTERN IMAGING GROUP UNIFORM POLICY

WIG provides a professional healthcare service. 

Presentation and appropriate uniform is to be worn at all times.

Uniforms are to be kept presentable and clean.

DRESS CODE:

1. BLACK SKIRTS, BLACK DRESS PANTS AND ¾ BLACK SHORTS (TO THE KNEE) CAN ONLY BE WORN.
2. BLACK OR NATURAL COLOURED STOCKINGS.
3. BELTS NEED TO BE BLACK.
4. NO TIGHTS, LEGGINGS, JEGGINGS OR JEANS TO BE WORN.
5. NO OPEN TOE SHOES – INCLUDING THONGS AND SANDALS.
6. NO SNEAKERS ARE TO BE WORN.
7. NO COLOURED SCARVES – ONLY CREAM/BLACK OR LEOPARD PRINT (WIG ISSUED SCARVES ONLY)
8. NO COLOURED SINGLETS/SHIRTS UNDER WIG TOP (UNLESS BLACK)
9. NO COLOURED CARDIGANS OR NON WIG ISSUED CARDIGANS, JACKETS OR JUMPERS TO BE WORN INSIDE THE PRACTICE
10. ALL UNIFORMS REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF WIG AND MUST BE RETURNED AT END OF EMPLOYMENT.
11. UNIFORM PROTOCOL ALSO APPLIES TO SATURDAY WORK.
