Under Promising and Over Delivering

If patients are requesting a timeframe to have an x-ray or ultrasound – find out an accurate time so that they are aware. In general, patients should be given an approximate time to allow them to plan prior to coming to have scanning done:

E.g.

Xrays - allow an hour
Ultrasounds - allow an hour
CT scans (depending on whether contrast is required ) - could be up to 2hrs

Please ask patients to arrive at least 10 mins prior to their ultrasound or CT appointments to allow for paperwork to be completed.

Please ask spinal injection patients to arrive at least 15 mins prior to their appt to complete their paperwork.
