Nuchal Workflow

New protocol for Nuchal paperwork because there are still too many mistakes and time wasting with results.

• Path form MUST be scanned in to Comrad under “pathology result 1”. If concierge/admin is not there, the sonographer is to do it themselves. 
• Get a second Sonographer to cross check your worksheet with the images on PACS and the path form which has been scanned in then initial in new “checked by:” section at top of worksheet. Second sono to make amendments or corrections if necessary. Make sure everything is correct! 
• Scan in to Comrad and save to PPW work list.
• If even after the double check, something is incorrect or doesn’t match what pathology has, then one of the two people who checked the paperwork will have to call pathology with the correct information to recalculate the MoMs. 
• (If you are at Marsden or Plumpton by yourself, get your favourite receptionist to do the checking for you!)
