Despte the fact that this mistake is repeatedly brought to everyone's attention, it is still occuring. So once again:
As a professional medical practice it is essential that our examination descriptions are correct regarding modality, side, region and spelling. The description that is typed into Comrad is what our referring doctors and patients see on PACS. It is essential it is correct for each examination.
The description for each visit should include the modality, side (if applicable), and region, and no superfluous information. Please remember that the description you enter into Comrad is visible by patients and doctors on PACS. If you need to add extra information this is to be done in the notes section only.
