The image link message will be sent 48hrs (rather than 24 hrs) after a patient has attended for an examination.
Unfortunately some patients have been returning to their Doctor in the belief that the text message indicates that their results are ready and they’re able to go back to their Dr for results.
Extending the time will enable us to make sure that the report has gone to the referrer.
Can all seniors make sure that staff in their area are aware of this and advise patients accordingly.
