If you tell a patient the results will be ready before the usual 24 hours, you must inform the necessary people to ensure your promise is kept.
The radiologist list is not filtered by urgency, so the exam does not automatically go to the top of the list (the typing list however is filtered by urgency, and reports are typed top to bottom). The radiologists may also not be aware that a report in wait needs to be verified.
Please do not put a visit in wait and just assume it will be done.
