Guidelines for Bookings and LGAs

Dear staff

In consideration of the updates provided this week from the Govt regarding additional suburbs added to the Lockdown List as well as covid testing requirements to Healthcare workers we’re putting some guidelines in place for patients that require bookings.

Bookings from the Blacktown LGA will be accepted.
Bookings from any of the other 7 locked down LGA’s will be accepted ONLY if the person has had a COVID test and received a negative result within the two days prior to their appointment and are able to send a copy of this prior to their appt (either emailed or faxed). If they don’t have the result by the day of the appt then the appt will need to be rescheduled. (The onus is on the patient to ensure that when they get tested they will get their results in time for their appt).
- If they have any COVID symptoms at all, then their appointment will not go ahead.
- If someone is self isolating or is a known close contact – then no appointment will be made until the self isolation period is over and there has been a final negative covid test received.
