For those patients, patient’s carers, etc. that aren’t vaccinated (double dose), who haven’t had a covid negative test in the 72hrs prior to their test; a negative personal rapid antigen test will now be accepted for a patient to have a scan with us. The patient must provide the test at their own cost.
- The patient must have the test within two hours of their appointment.
- They will need to bring the negative test with them to show that it’s negative to reception staff.
- They will need to sign a Personal rapid antigen test declaration form – verifying that the test result belongs to them and that the test has been performed the same day as the appointment.
- If the test is positive the patient MUST not come to the appointment – they need to go and have a proper PCR covid test. They cannot enter the practice.
