Saturday Clinic

We will resume Saturday appointments at Campbell Street 13th November.

Please make sure:

• Vaccination status and appropriate instructions given.
• Check that an ultrasound is not also required when a patient calls to say “do I need an appointment for an xray”.
• Please advise patients that require an xray to arrive no later than 11.30am to have their scan done. If they arrive after 11.30am then we may not be able to do the xray depending on the number of people waiting to have xrays done. 
• Please ask ultrasound patients to arrive 10 mins prior to their appointment to ensure that all paperwork and screening questions are done so they can be taken in on time.
• Please follow the reserves.  They are in place to help guide you and help the day run smoothly. 
• Only non-contrast CT scans are to be booked on a Saturday.
• Results will not be available until Monday afternoon as we will not have a Dr on site.
• Ultrasound is by appointment only on a Saturday – if there are medically urgent ultrasounds (eg ?miscarriage, ?appendicitis, ?DVT)  required,  then check with the appropriate supervisor on the day -  prior to accepting scan – covid vaccination status etc. will still be required for medically urgent tests.
